There is a new suicide technique being publicized on the Internet that can become
a deadly hazard to law enforcement officers and others who come upon the
scene. The suicide technique uses hydrogen sulfide, a gas that smells like
rotten eggs. Law enforcement and first responders will need to know how to
identify such suicide scenes and protect themselves and the public from hazards
associated with this chemical process.
