NPSTC Congratulates Televate on 20 Years in Public Safety
NPSTC would like to extend our congratulations to Televate!  Televate is celebrating 20 years working for the betterment of public safety.
Joe Ross and Rick Burke have worked with NPSTC for many years.  Joe contributed to the National Coordinating Committee (NCC), which provided recommendations to the FCC concerning interoperability, technology, and implementation.  Joe also led the Assessment of Future Spectrum and Technology (AFST) project, which identified public safety communications requirements over a 10-year period beginning in 2012.  The full report is here.
This report remains a valuable tool as we move into the future technology being used by public safety.  Televate donated hundreds of hours of work developing this document that is still being quoted today.  Over the next two years, NPSTC will be doing an update to this work to project to 2032.
We congratulate Joe and Rick for their successes over the past 20 years!
