The National Public Safety Telecommunications Council welcomes their new Affiliate Member:  The Safer Buildings Coalition.  NPSTC Chair, Ralph Haller and Managing Director of the Safer Buildings Coalition, John Foley, signed a Memorandum of Understanding on June 1, 2020 to support the development of attributes of wireless technologies for public safety communications inside of buildings.
Mr. Haller said, "We're very happy to have an MOU between NPSTC and the Safer Buildings Coalition.  Communications inside of buildings is critical for public safety and we look forward to working with the Safer Buildings Coalition to provide the best communications possible."
"The members and staff of the Safer Buildings Coalition are excited to join together with NPSTC to collaborate on improving public safety communications and interoperability," said John Foley, Managing Director of the Safer Buildings Coalition.  "Now more than ever public safety agencies, and the public they protect, must have ubiquitous, reliable communications while inside buildings.  We look forward to working side by side with NPSTC and their prestigious and influential federation of organizations to further that mission."
