We are pleased to announce that the Essentials of Alerts, Warnings, and Notifications document has been published on the SAFECOM Technology Resources webpage https://www.cisa.gov/safecom/technology under "Alerts and Warnings".  The document provides an overview of existing national alerts, warnings, and notifications (AWN) systems to help public safety officials, Smart City planners, and alert originators to familiarize themselves with the systems.  It is a companion piece to Ten Keys to Improving Emergency Alerts, Warnings, and Notifications.
