As CISA celebrates National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week (NPSTW) and Emergency Communications Month, we are pleased to announce the release of the Cyber Incident Response Case Studies Suite.

The Cyber Incident Response Case Studies are intended to help public safety agencies prepare their Emergency Communications Centers (ECCs)/Public Safety Answering Points (PSAPs) for cyberattacks.  The Suite contains three documents:  (1) Malware Attacks:  Lessons Learned from an ECC, (2) Telephony Denial of Service (TDoS) Attacks:  Lessons Learned from a PSAP, and (3) Cyber Incident Response to PSAPs:  A State's Perspective.  These three documents share the real-world experiences and lessons learned from two local ECCs/PSAPs, as well as one state's response to cyber incidents.

These documents would not have been possible without input from our partners at SAFECOM, National Council of Statewide Interoperability Coordinators (NCSWIC), and our case study contributors. We sincerely thank you for your contributions to ensure the documents were written by, and for, public safety agencies.
