CISA conducts annual R&D activities based on requirements from the National Emergency Communications Plan.  We are pleased to announce a series of 30-minute webinars showcasing the 2022 public safety communications research and development (R&D) activity outcomes, and we would like to invite the NPSTC members to attend these sessions.

The R&D series focuses on reducing cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities and addressing interoperability challenges posed by rapid technology advancements and increased information sharing.  The 2022 initiatives include 5G network security, information sharing, interoperability solutions, Next Generation 911 (NG911) cybersecurity, and NG911 interoperability.

The webinar series consisting of 9 demonstrations will kick off this Thursday, August 18, 2022, through September 29, 2022.  Please see the attached flyer for more details.  Feel free to share this announcement with your colleagues and partner organizations.
